Tickets for you! Don’t miss the giveaway at the end!
You might know that the World of Coca-Cola – besides being all things southern and rich in history – is one of our favorite local destinations here in Atlanta, Georgia. We went just last week to check out the new movie (made me cry!), try out the new app (love the fun facts!) and of course – see the newest art exhibit!
I’m sharing some highlights from our visit – and why you need to go too. Plus a round up of all things Coca-Cola that we’ve shared here at Hodgepodge.
Love the fun facts with the World of Coca-Cola app – learning things we haven’t before! And the new Pop Culture Howard Finster exhibit is great. Plus, of course, the tasting room. Vanilla Coke is my favorite. How ’bout you? #WOCCsummer

- Keep a journal of their favorite flavors from around the world in the Taste It! beverage lounge
- Connect instantly on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

- Get general information about the attraction
The mobile app is designed to be used at the World of Coca-Cola. Guests can check in automatically when they arrive by enabling Bluetooth on their iPhones. The app then delivers engaging content as they travel throughout the attraction. After unlocking the app features, guests can continue to enjoy them long after their visit.
Moments of Happiness Film at World of Coca-Cola
We think the new Moments of Happiness film is the best one yet! It is in the theme of the Moments of Happiness machine that surprised visitors. Enjoy the trailer.
Happiness is all around us and it happens every day. That’s the spirit of the new film in the Coca-Cola Theater. The six-minute film celebrates some of life’s most memorable moments experienced by people of different ages and cultures around the world.
We really loved all the art at World of Coca-Cola! #exploreGeorgia #WOCCsummer
Howard Finster: Visions of Coca-Cola Gallery
The World of Coca-Cola’s new exhibit in the Pop Culture gallery features works from Howard Finster. A self-taught artist and Baptist minister from Georgia, Finster is considered one of the most important folk artists of the 20th century. He loved Coca-Cola and often used the iconic bottle shape in his artwork.
Besides really loving the Howard Finster displays in Pop Culture – especially his paint palette and supplies – the children had a fun time creating a masterpiece with the touch screen.
Howard Finster: Visions of Coca-Cola will include items from The Thomas E. Scanlin Collection, including:
- A 13-foot-tall Coke bottle “big enough for man to stand in” that depicts historical figures in the artist’s unique style
- The 8-foot-tall original folk art bottle, which Finster created for the 1996 Olympic Games and inspired a global art project
- Tools from Finster’s studio that became works of art themselves

I’ve never been to the world of coke. I love the taste and would love to let the kids sample all the different flavors.
We do explore our own hometown as much as possible in the summer.

We tend to explore closer to home in the summer, but try to make at least one jaunt
far off… which only means about a four or five area radius! We’ve
never been to the Coke place, but we’d love to go and also see the art that Steve Penley
has painted there.
Bonnie Boucek says
The fact that the company tries to give back to the community through different programs. One that we really miss is the Coke Cola summer camps. The kids loved that camp — so much to learn and do.

We are always taking time to do things in the summer. I try to avoid hearing Mom We’re Bored;) Coca Cola Museum would be a great place to visit and learn about the history of something that is so vital to Atlanta.
