Art for All Ages: A Simple Start in Chalk Pastels ebook
Enjoy!
- A note on chalk pastels: Pastels are an easy, forgiving medium. Fun for children and adults alike! Details on the pastels and paper we use, how and where to purchase, and links to all of Nana’s other pastel lessons (50 free lessons now) are all contained in the post Pastels plus links to tutorials. A simple set is very affordable. Nana also teaches acrylic lessons.
- The practical aspects of a mess: Pastels are blessedly messy. We always have baby wipes close by to wipe hands. We wear something we don’t mind getting stained or don a smock.
- Encouragement: How to Start Art with Little Ones and How to Add in the Joy of Art.

I just wanted to let you know that we completed this pastels project as a wonderful ending to a little study of Mt. Vesuvius and Pompeii. Thank you again for taking the time and effort to post these most excellent tutorials.

I followed you quietly for awhile, but the switch from google reader to bloglovin’ hasn’t been so smooth. Is there a way I could still see the tutorials even though my feed reader is different than those you’ve listed?
KM says
I found it! Somehow I missed the link earlier.

HI! I don’t know if I am missing something, but I can’t find the volcano tutorial. I scroll down to the bottom of the feed, and there are links for Monet’s bridge, baseball and bat, summer trees, and lots of shark stuff, but no volcano tutorial. Am I doing something wrong?
Hodgepodgemom says
Jennifer – the volcano tutorial was a subscriber freebie for a short time. If you subscribe to Hodgepodge – then send me an email via the contact form and we will see about getting it to you 🙂

Thank you!
