My first loaf using my new Nutimill
********************************
It’s funny that I would start making home made bread, researching and cooking healthier meals, trying to go more natural and organic, finally exercising on a regular basis and as always trying to be more organized in some areas of my home life and it makes me feel like am a little closer to being a Proverbs 31 woman.

What does a proverbs 31 Woman really look like?
You know what, I have read Proverbs 31 over and over in my life time and I have always felt I didn’t measure up. I know that “feeling” isn’t from the Lord BUT I do know that every time I read it, God can and will speak to me if I am willing to listen. I do want to be a Proverbs 31 woman cause she just sounds awesome. Every time I read about her I have to ask myself what does she really look like in the HERE and the NOW? What do I have to do to be like her? Would being a Proverbs 31 woman look “word for word” like this chapter describes her. I have never thought so but I always wondered was I close at all to the “idea” of this amazing woman? Would we ALL (women of God) look just the same as we try to live out being a Proverbs 31 woman? I never thought so because our wonderfully amazing God made us all so uniquely different. I think it would go against God himself to think that we all need to look the same, dress the same and do the same thing in order to be a Proverbs 31 woman. Here is how the WORD of God describes this woman.
Proverbs 31:10-31
10 Who[a] can find a virtuous[b] wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her;
So he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.
13 She seeks wool and flax,
And willingly works with her hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships,
She brings her food from afar.
15 She also rises while it is yet night,
And provides food for her household,
And a portion for her maidservants.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
From her profits she plants a vineyard.
17 She girds herself with strength,
And strengthens her arms.
18 She perceives that her merchandise is good,
And her lamp does not go out by night.
19 She stretches out her hands to the distaff,
And her hand holds the spindle.
20 She extends her hand to the poor,
Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of snow for her household,
For all her household is clothed with scarlet.
22 She makes tapestry for herself;
Her clothing is fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates,
When he sits among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
And supplies sashes for the merchants.
25 Strength and honor are her clothing;
She shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She watches over the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “ Many daughters have done well,
But you excel them all.”
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates.
What I have always thought is the main message in these scriptures is “A woman who fears (reverently worships) the LORD”. That should be the heart, the very essence of a Proverbs 31 woman. This is the one and only area that we should all look alike, our heart, we should all have a heart for God!! Now when we consider the ‘outside’, we can take into account our own traits, personalities and gifts that God has given us. Besides the heart issue I am not going to try to describe any further what a Proverbs 31 woman should look like. I believe that the answer to that can only come through God to each of us individually. So for ME right now being a Proverbs 31 woman means that I am to home school my kids, make homemade bread and as many ‘from scratch’ meals, etc as I can, buy (and grow) more organic and natural foods, get outside more, exercise my physical body and keep my spirit “fit”, be the wife that my husbands needs (and that God approves =), encourage as many people around me that I can, be available so that God can use me to ‘love’ on His people, witness to the lost, study the WORD and teach it when God gives me an opportunity, support my church, PRAY, PRAY and PRAY !!! I pray that YOU are the Proverbs 31 woman that God wants you to be!! If you think you might not be, I encourage you to PRAY, SEEK HIS FACE and HE will show you what you are supposed to look like and do as a Proverbs 31 woman!! Also remember that what HE wants of you today may be different than it was two years ago or what it will be two years from now. Just Listen, obey and enjoy the blessings that will come to you, your husband and your kids because you are walking in HIS will!!
