Stand By Your Man

“Oh, I just wish he would… “

“Why doesn’t he ever…?”

“I can’t believe he…”

It is very easy to fall into the trap of criticizing our husbands. But ladies, this is one of the most damaging things we can do to our own marriages. In the article 10 Things Guys Wish Women Knew about Men, the top three things on the list are related to respect and affirmation.

In honor of the month of love, I hope you’ll  join me in this  30 Day Husband Encouragement Challenge compiled by Revive our Hearts. If you’d like to receive the daily challenges by e-mail, click here, choose the Husband Encouragement Challenge and enter your e-mail information.

Kendra, I have done this 30 day challenge and I have to say it really changed things between Mike and I. I will do it again! He actually started to change and helped out more. It goes great with what I’ve learned from the book you gave me. Awesome 🙂

Amen! What timing this Valentine week. Thanks Kendra. Great resources.

I echo Kellie’s comment in doing the 30 day challenge again. I downloaded it and was scrolling through… found my verse for my sweetie

“Behold you are handsome, my beloved! Yes, pleasant!…” Song of Solomon 1:16a

Count me in to do it again! What better Valentine can you give your man than your respect and affirmation?

(Now I have that song in my head)
