A little linkage…

Here is a little  linkage for a few posts I thought were really good.  I hope you will click over and read them.

I also added a link for the upcoming movie by some friends of ours. I can’t wait for it to come out in theaters.

Motherhood as  a Mission Field – If you are a Christian woman who loves the Lord, the gospel is important to you. It is easy to become discouraged, thinking that the work you are doing does not matter much…

I Am Unalarmed -I am convinced that the reason so many young people abandon the church is that they have seen far more hypocrisy than gospel; they have had their emotions stirred but never their souls. This can be true in churches that are full of programs—the kinds of churches where every youth event is big and loud and exciting. This can be true in churches that are quiet and controlled and which exposit the Bible.

God’s Wisdom, Your Relationships – I encounter people everywhere I go who are discouraged and confused about their relationships. I want you to think about your own relationships and look at them through three perspectives derived from biblical wisdom. These mentalities are essential in creating and sustaining a healthy relational lifestyle.

Courageous– Protecting the streets is second nature to these men. Raising their children in a God-honoring way? That’s courageous.

Kim has been married for twenty-three years, a minister’s wife for more than twenty years. She has eight children and   has been homeschooling for fifteen years. She would like to say she reads travels and does all kinds of wonderful things in her spare time, but the truth is she spends her spare time doing laundry.

I read Motherhood as a Mission field yesterday through someone’s facebook post. Apparently, many of us identify with it! It was encouraging to me as I often forget Who I’m serving as I’m doing dishes and cleaning up after my mission field… =) Today’s mentality says that you are only making a difference if you are doing something big. Thank goodness we have the Bible to tell us the truth! When I turn there, I realize I am doing exactly what God has for me to do.
