Back At It – A New Homeschool Year

BACK AT IT

1st day school 2012 13 016

Back at WHAT you may be asking. Well, for me right now the IT is a new home schooling year. As I am writing this, I only have three days until that new year starts. I love starting a new year! When you are getting BACK AT IT, it can feel like experiencing something NEW. Sometimes NEW just feels so good; like having a clean slate, buying a new toy, new book, gaining a new friend, or a new perspective. Though, sometimes NEW can also be nerve-wracking, scary, and over-whelming! Sometimes getting BACK AT IT brings with it thoughts like: will I fail, can I really do this, what if it doesn’t go well, etc.

I think most people at one time or another, or maybe even more often have to get BACK AT IT. What kind of ITs? Well, there is getting back to eating right, exercising, sleeping more, spending more time with family or friends, reading a book, a new school year, working after a vacation, going to church, reading the bible, putting others first, and living right, etc. I could have listed plenty more ITs, but the point is we can spend a lot of time in our life getting BACK AT IT.

I want to encourage you as you get BACK AT IT; no matter what the IT may be……………..

The Lord is the one who is going ahead of you. He will be with you. He won’t abandon you or leave you. So don’t be afraid or terrified.”~~Deuteronomy 31:8

“I will not leave you all alone. I will come back to you.”~~John 14:18

………..God has said, “I will never abandon you or leave you.”~~Hebrews 13:5

Know that whether or not the getting BACK AT IT is an exciting IT or a very difficult IT; GOD will be right there with you!!

19 The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!~~Habakkuk 3
