Christmas Blessings

Infant holy, infant lowly, For His bed a cattle stall; (~ Middle Girl singing a solo last night in church special, Get to the Manger)

…Oxen lowing, little knowing Christ the child is Lord of all.
Swiftly winging, angels singing, Bells are ringing, tidings bringing:
Christ the child is Lord of all! Christ the child is Lord of all! ~Children leading us in worship on a Sunday night.

A Drama Troupe production full of God’s people. All pointing to Him!

Cousins, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A new family calendar – a joy each month for all of 2012. Many thanks to Mama Ann and Aunt Mary Ann!

My grandmother, Mama Ann, with her newest great-grandchild!

Nightly readings of Tabitha’s Travels.

Celebrating ahead – both joyous and gently quiet.

…Flocks were sleeping, shepherds keeping Vigil till the morning new
Saw the glory, heard the story, Tidings of a Gospel true.
Thus rejoicing, free from sorrow, Praised voicing, greet the morrow:
Christ the child was born for you! Christ the child was born for you!

Counting gifts 2870 -2882.

About Hodgepodgemom

Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos homeschooling five children. The biggest lesson she’s learned? At the end of the day – when the dishes are put away and the children are tucked in bed – truly what matters is each child’s relationship with the Lord. Raising children is a God-given privilege and, folks, the time is short.
