Live Chalk Pastel Art Tutorials

One of the fun things that Nana, the children and I have been doing is Facebook Live Art Tutorials. Most every Wednesday at noon eastern time, we been sharing live chalk pastel art tutorials on the ChalkPastel.com Facebook page. We’ve also visited a few Facebook pages of some friends.

Because it can sometimes be hard to find these art tutorials once they have been shared, I thought you would like them all here in one spot. Then I can update them as we share future tutorials.

Video Art Tutorials

What began as chalk pastel art tutorials in written form years ago, we are now sharing via video art tutorials. If you and your students learn best with video art lessons, I encourage you to take a look at all we have to offer. We have found such freedom and success with the chalk pastel medium.

Click over and browse ChalkPastel.com

You asked for it! A Simple Start in Chalk Pastels Video Art Course is available January 2, 2017! Because you ARE an artist. Nana walks you and your artists through the steps of creating beautiful artwork, providing tips on colors and teaching chalk pastel techniques.

Chalk Pastels for What Ages?

Chalk pastels are truly art for all ages. No prior skill level necessary. Chalk pastels are a unique art medium. Younger artists find chalk familiar and fun. Budding artists that are upper elementary aged and older, find such freedom in independent time with chalk tutorials and creating what they please. Artists with much more practice still find chalk pastels challenging because of all the layering and ‘painting of light’ they can do. The possibilities are endless.

About Hodgepodgemom

Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos homeschooling five children. The biggest lesson she’s learned? At the end of the day – when the dishes are put away and the children are tucked in bed – truly what matters is each child’s relationship with the Lord. Raising children is a God-given privilege and, folks, the time is short.
