The Habit of Saying Yes

I read this article at A Holy Experience last week and it has been on my mind continually since. I really can’t say this any better than she already has, so if you haven’t already, please take the time to read When You Can’t Figure Out What the Answer Should Be.

Praying this will be the year of “yes” in my home.

joining you in the yes! Yet… with yes often comes a mess as Ann described last week. I had a hard time with that balance last week too 🙂 But the bless in the mess is immeasurable!

    Thanks for sharing this.

I guess that struck a nerve in more than just me. I had been having similar internal stirrings and when I read Ann’s post, I thought “YES! That’s it!” She hit the nail on the head.

Now I like to see the kids faces when they ask something that might normally be met with a no or later and they get a yes instead. Such fun, but like Tricia said, balance is key 🙂

I also loved this article, it was very moitivational for me but when I read it I thought “there are just some things you can’t say yes, too =) AS was mentioned above, balance is key.
