Every Day

I have been struck today with the reminder of how gracious my God is to me. He gives me so many good gifts. . .my little family, protection, apple blossoms (yes, I am obsessed; they’re so beautiful they hurt!). . .protection has come to mind the most over the last week or so.

April 2013 036awI know these photos give off a certain aura of peace, tranquility and delicious apple blossom scents. . .don’t worry, it didn’t last long.  While I was distracted with attempting to get a few last photos with the blossoms before the storm came through the other night, I burned our dinner.  As in, it almost caught on fire.  As in, the bottom of my pan is still partly black even though I’ve scrubbed and scrubbed with baking soda.  As in, so much smoke was billowing out of our windows that people walking by stopped to ask if we were okay.  Yes, we’re fine!
