Sunflower Peeps Cake

We made this last year and it was great! Easy and fun from Everyday Celebrating.

Even if it sorta cracked and fell apart because it was made with egg substitute. Even if, because it cracked, we couldn’t ice the whole thing.

Still, it made for laughs and a great last-minute-use-up-your-Easter-Peeps easy.

We improvised and just slathered the top with the canned icing. Then, we may have put those Peeps on the wrong way. Still, it was mighty tasty and a big hit with the children.

And we celebrated a great spring break week and the success of planting the garden!

I see now… we were supposed to use chick peeps  🙂 Still, the bunnies are cute.

About Hodgepodgemom

Tricia faces a daily dose of chaos homeschooling five children. The biggest lesson she’s learned? At the end of the day – when the dishes are put away and the children are tucked in bed – truly what matters is each child’s relationship with the Lord. Raising children is a God-given privilege and, folks, the time is short.
